Tranny swap
I am going to be putting in an AOD from an 82 2wheel drive truck in my Bronco. My Bronco also has an AOD. The only thing that needs to be swaped is the rear tail housing for the T-case, right? The linkage might be a little different but that is no big deal.

Well you see, the AOD currently in my Bronco is still useable as long as I take it easy, it slips when you get on it hard. I figure that since I use my Bronco as a daily driver I can still drive it while I rebuild the AOD from the 82. The AOD from the 82 is sitting in the garage right now just waiting to get rebuilt. Also this will be my first tranny rebuild so if I screw it up I still have the AOD that is currently in my Bronco as backup.
