2.0 timing

2.0 timing
My girlfriend has an 82 ranger with a 2.0 motor.
A year ago the timing belt broke. Ever since then its been sitting, with no gas in it. So a few days ago i replaced the belt and added five gallons of gas to it.But i can't get it to fire at all. I know its got spark and ive been pouring gas down the carb so its getting gas too.
I line up the mark on the came with the middle pointer,i lined the crank up with its mark and line the rotor up to #1 on the cap. But still nothen happens, what could i be doing wrong.

Check this out.................................
1) possible bad wires
2) cracked distribuator cap or moisture
3) corrosion on plugs
4) still out with timing
