eh, here in minne-snow-ta we are kind of lacking one thing... snow!
in the twin cities we dont even have an inch of it yet, wed usually have over a foot of it in november. we havent had a typical winter in 5 years.
i sold my snowmobile last winter... thankfully! i guess duluth has snow, but none around the twin cities.
it made camping during deer hunting easy, no snow covering the tent, but then the deer blended in too easy.
my friends with plow trucks are mad... and i havent even mounted the snow plow on the 4wheeler this year.
I am not in Mn but normally we have at least 8-10 inches by now, we got a light dusting last night. Made it kind of kewl to wake up christmas morning to snow falling but it petered out before it mounted to anything
I know a joke about 10 inches, but that would be stretching it,so I wont go there! But anyway,Im Sick of Snow!It has snowed here so often in the last two weeks that I have had to play "Whats in the truck" for two weekends straight!Do you know how to play? Its easy. After a night of steady snowfall, which leaves fresh snow up to your knees, you simply look at one of your kids and say,Oh yeah, did you see "Whats in the truck"?That causes three kids to take off running for you truck. Then they get there and realize that the truck is locked. Then they come running back in to get your keys. Then they run back out to the truck, unlock the door, only to find the truck empty. They then come running back in the house complaining that they could not find anything. Then with your best surprized look say,oh I must have forgotten it at work!By the time they have made two trips to the truck and back, they will have beaten a nice path for you to walk in!
Anyone missing thier White Christmas is welcome to come to my house! I have about 8" of snow and it is supposed to snow good and proper for the next week!
So much for the driveway and sidewalk I just shoveled out....I shoulda asked Santa for a snowblower!
We have enjoyed about 80 years of nice stable weather patterns on this planet. Unfortunately the last few years are more like the norm for this planet according to tree ring records that go back a couple of thousand years. You haven't seen anything yet... Famine, flood, drought, and pestilence are the norm!
Here in central Kansas the weather has been suprisingly warm lately 3 days ago we had below zero wind chills and today it was warm enough for me to go out and give my truck a good washing with a sweatshirt on it was in the 50's. But you know what they say about Kansas if you don't like the weather wait a few minutes it will change.
