This is going to hurt!

All,

I am a True Blue Ford Truck man. I have owned 4 ford trucks and love them dearly. I come to this site frequently for information and help. It is truly a blessing. However, My Grandfather has given me his 1963 Chevy stepside pickup. So, another truck project begins, and there are still parts in the floor of my shop from my 1969 F250 CS, 390, C6, Dana 60 project. Has anyone seen a Chevy Truck web site that is almost as helpful as this site is for Ford trucks?

Thanks,
Greg

Really ought not do this, but since your post count shows you're active here.... www.chevytrucks.org. Just make sure your immunizations are current before you touch the engine.

Thanks Ken. I've still got my 99 F150 4x4 and the 69 f250, so you can bet I'll still be spending plenty of time here.

I hate to admit this myself, but my wifes father is giving me a fully restored 1953 Chevy stepside 1/2 ton truck. This thing looks like it just rolled off the show room floor its so cherry. I love Ford and thats alll I will ever drive, but momma didn't raise no fool. OK so here comes the cheap shots I am ready.

No cheap shots from me. I prefer Fords but I'm not so narrow minded I can't appreciate a quality build-up no matter what the vehicle make. My brother-in-law has a mid 40's Ch*vy stree rod that is IMMACULATE. Has a blower, the whole nine yards. It is one sweet machine. He likes Ch*vys and I like Fords. We kid each other but it's always good natured. I just wish that could be the case with all the Ford-Ch*vy debate on this board, but it sometimes gets plain mean. Kind of sad to see that.
P.S. This is post #100 for me. Didn't think I'd stick around long enough to be THAT big a pain, did ya?:P

This is going to hurt!

On a somewhat related note, I saw something about Taurus cars on the boards yesterday and am still checking out the link.

That machine is about the most computer-dependant machine I ever dealt with, and a bear to work on compared to a truck. But I've always had an open mind myself.

That links for non-FTE info are offered here is even more proof that FORD TRUCK ENTHUSIASTS are about the most helpful people around!
