Vacationing On-Line

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 25-Jan-02 AT 08:37 PM (EST)]How many people here go on vacation by surfing possible vacationing spots on-line.

Some of the places that the people here live sound like they would be great places[like my own city] to visit.

So far I have visited,Atlanta,Memphis,Louisville,State of North Carolina,State of Ohio,Houston,Dallas,Denver,San Diego(been there),

I would like to offer ONE of my city's websites for you to peruse.
I really Love living where I do,as I've lived here all my life.

www.discovercalgary.com

Have a great On-Line Vacation.

Besides searching out a vacation spot:
The other reason of searching out other places is to learn and see what goes on in the locales of fellow members.

Vacationing On-Line

It only makes sense to look at your options ahead of time, to make the most of a vacation. This used to be done by sending out letters to chambers of commerce, and other agencies, as well as making a bunch of long distance phone calls.

We don't have to do that so much anymore - it's one of the gifts of the modern age that hotel reservations and everything else can pretty much be done online.

Including checking on the weather and driving conditions before heading out on the road.

Cruise ship line, airlines, trains, and all of that are now available in an evenings surf, and you can get a pretty good idea what kind of a budget you will need to plan for it.

I'm strongly in favor of it, and hope everyone takes advantage of these options and more!

Vacationing On-Line

In my travels I often use the internet to arrange for the little things, like a good hotel, where to eat, and driving directions.. I do not have vacations as such, I am on call 24/7 and often have to drop everything and go away for a week or two. I would like to have a true vacation.. better than the last - I had a semi vacation in New York City, that ended abruptly, September 11th..
