no power!!!
I run 33" tires and the stock 373 gears were dragging me down. I put 456 gears with an Auburn limited slip in the thing and my truck jams.
Put a K&N filter system in the thing and eliminate going through the stock airbox. (You will need to create or purchase a mounting kit for the K&N) Add a larger pipe to the exhaust, I put a 2.25" Stainless steel pipe with a Flowmaster Muffler. I saw a remarkable difference in power. I will be doing the Super Chip after the beginning of next year. My truck is only a 4 cylinder and the horsepower stock is much less than the 3.0 Still my truck is plenty fast for my limited offroading and for my drive to the office.
You can always drop a V8 into the Truck if you want "Lightning" speed! There are several kits out there for doing this in a Ranger.
>my friend has a 99 ranger with
>the 3.0 in it. he
