any body else having problems checking hotmail?

mine has been being a pain in the BEEP for about a month, I finally gave up on it, its so full of spam ads anyway it was getting anoying. I am pretty much leaning towards never useing any of these: hotmail, msn mess, IE, outbook, they are all not very good and have security issues.
could be the holidays, but for a straight month? mine has had this problem ever since it was converted to more space. I think they messed with it trying to make it more secure to the extent its unuseable, totally insane how many redirects and cookies they use and java is totally useless in my book for checking email, god only knows what they use that for.
