I use to have problems all the time signing in hotmail but since I got high speed internet no problems.

I closed my hotmail account 2 years ago and never looked back. Mozilla Thunderbird is a good email program. I'm fortunate enough that my ISP blocks all the junk mail i would normally get.
My other mail account is Yahoo....and I have no problems with it.

I keep my hotmail account to dump stuff into or signing up for things so they don't get anything I use regularly, but I have not had any problems

YES!! even after signing in. main page failing to load. messages taking for ever to load and with errors too. could not reply to messages. My. MSN is the same way too. and no, it is not the computor or service. Does this at work and at any of the computors at the library and home too. was able to finally send off a message to customer support but still no responce. It's getting soo bad that i have to open another browser window and do something else while "hot mail, or my.msn" is loading.

My sister has ton's of problems with Hotmail... It turned out to be her security settings for IE explorer after instaling XP SRV-PAK 2 - I switched her to firefox and bam MSN and hotmail work like a charm.... I use hotmail every day.

same thing flip4ford said. a while back,i couldn't get hotmail to open for about a month,then everybody started talking about how good firefox was so I installed it,and whamo hotmail has worked great ever since!!
