any body else having problems checking hotmail?
Just wondering if any body else is having problems getting hotmail to open to check hotmail? mine works every now and then,all the other times,a white page comes up and the green status bars only move up to 5 bars,no matter how long I leave the page alone to let it open. It has been this way about 3 days. all my other web sites work as good as they always have. any thing i can do on my end to fix it,or is it a problem with hotmail? thanks,Ben

I use gmail, but a friend of mine sent me an email this week that mentioned having problems with his hotmail account. He indicated it wasn't working all of the time. Maybe it's a systemwide problem?

I have had some trouble in the past month or so, but eventually it lets me in. What are you using for a browser? It may be conflicting, had to go back to using IE every once in a while. It's on good behavior lately, they have been doing some upgrading lately.

I was going to ask the same thing on here. I cannot access my hotmail account. i have been waiting about an hour and it still hasn't opened. Recently, i've been getting page can not be found, but it usually opens after hitting refresh. Not sure what the current problem is that we are having. Maybe increased usage because of the holidays?

My hotmail account has been freezing up alot lately.

I am using IE. I have not made any changes to my computer since the last time hotmail worked for me. I would think if it was because of the holidays,it would work in the middle of the night or early morning when there isn't as much activity. mine doesn't even open then. I am going to my kid's house for christmas eve,so I will be able to check it there. I usually wouldn't be very worried about it,but I am trying to sell my project cj7 and I had someone somewhat interested in it,and i know his answering email is in there. anybody know a way to email hotmail and ask what's going on?

here's another thought: how many people in this thread that said they are having problems have a dial up modem versus cable/dsl? a friend of mine that lives 30 miles away from here said hers is working great,but she has a cable modem,was just wondering if that might have something to do with it? I have a dial up modem
