351m intermitant dying problem??

351m intermitant dying problem??
Recently the 351m in my 78 ford has been cutting out for periods of 5 seconds or so while I'm driving then coming back to life.......? Aside from that problem it runs real good.
Is this the end of my fuel pump or something?? It doesn't go bang when it comes to life again so I assume the ignition isn't the problem,LoL. What about water in my gas?
