Did Ford ever make a long bed stepside? If so how rare were these?

Yes they were made but not many. So they would be rare, but not terribly desireable...

I've got a friend who has a 71 Ford Long Bed Stepside. It was an ex-Airforce service truck bought at an auction. He prefers it. ??? What a dork.

I Rember Thay My Dad Bought A 1969 (as Best I Rember) F-100 Stepside With A 9' Bed. Had The Spare Tire Mounts On Both Sides Outside Of The Bed. Fenders Were Shaped To Accodimate Them. Truck Was Old Forrest Service Painted About The Coler Of Primer Gray But Had A Shine To It. Straight 6, 4 Speed, 2wd And The Oil Bath Air Cleaner. Rember The Wheels Were Odd Size For 1/2 Ton (very Heavy Split Rims)

Longbed flaresides are very rare!! I think they're cool, but I prefer the shortbed flaresides.
