I have a 95 Ranger Supercab 4x4 and was wondering thelargest tire i can put on it...I have made no susp modifications....I have ordered a Granatelli Mass Airflow Sensor if anyone has any info or experience with them as well. Also, what are the best ways to get more power out of the 3.0 liter V-6? Any help is greatly appreciated. Justin
I put new BFGoodrich All Terains size 31x10.50 R15 on my 94 Ranger Splash. No rubbing or any other problems. If you do this make sure you go to your local Ford dealership and get the right speedo gear. They look really good also.
Also, in response to the reply by "pastmaster"- 94 Rangers do not have torsion bars (idiot)
If you want some minor power upgrades. The new mass air sensor is a great idea, also try getting a larger bore throttle body. Dont forget the K&N Air Filter 'cause it really does work. Dual exhaust is a good idea also but it doesnt sound to great on the 3.0L engine, (sounds awesome on the 4.0L, trust me).
My 97 Ranger came with 265/75R15's which are real close to the same size as 31x10.50R15's. I don't know about Rangers, but my 92 F150 had an electronic speedo and the dealer reset it to match my tire size (electronic speedometers can only be reset 3 times), it took them 2 tries.
