I have a 2004 6.0 with auto trans and 13K miles. I have just started noticing a vibration in the steering wheel, dash, etc with no change in normal commuting.

Well - I'm at a loss for ideas- the truck now has 15K on it - the tires have been rotated and re-balanced and still have issue - I notice it between 65-70 but really it is tied mor to RPM - even at idle. Is anyone else's reveiw mirror distorted from vibration all the time? I've also just had the injector control module replaced and the #2 injector. ($$1600 later - but the warrenty covered it)...I'm wondering if it is engine related and not alignment / tires.
Any suggestions? Pat
Pat, I had an 04 and a bad vibration when accelerating from a stop. I also dicovered a fix by using a piece or two of lead tape (buy from Golf Shop) or even wrapping a stainless steel clamp onto the rear driveline and revolving the clamp to place the extra weight from the clamp screw in different experimental positions to accomplish balance. This worked for me. Cheap!
What I have found to work best no balancing a driveshaft is to leave the hose clamp just loose enough so that it can still rotate arround the driveshaft. After a little driving, the clamp screw will find the best position for balance. After you find where the extra weight needs to be added, I like to remove the clamp and weld a washer on as a larger and more permanent weight.
