OK guys, time to fess up. You been naughty or nice? What is the truck getting for Christmas? Mine has been naughty lately (small irregular idle) so it isn't getting anything. However, I'm getting a compressor for the shop. 6 hp 32 gallon, 150 psi.

What will you find under the tree?

Happy Holiday to all !

From our outhouse to yours

Bubba

My '48 panel got an early Christmas present, a set of new reproduction front fender bottoms and rear patch panels. I got them from a new member,jersey48. He listed them on eBay and I was able to get them for $76. They still had the manufacturer's stickers on them. Thanks again Eric.

Also another member, dmptrkr, helped me by bringing them back to Milwaukee. He just happened to be in PA, about 80 miles from jerey48's home and when I emailed him about the fenders he volunteered to bring them back, now there's a great guy. Thanks Craig.

My truck will get alot of body work over the break. prime and paint finally! I also ordered some dress up items such as a matching billet air cleaner and vlave covers and rear view mirror. a master cyl is in order soon and a complete ez-wire harness. I think thats about it for my money pit. Maybe this summer it will see the road permanently.

On the first month of Christmas, my Santa gave to me...

5 days of welding,
4 cargo tie downs,
3 days of bed floor,
2 days of body work,
and a case of Zero Rust to paint it all...

Ho, Ho, Ho... and Merry Christmas to all of you Santas out there...

I think Santa is bringing a front disc brake conversion kit. Hopefully he won't herniate himself bringing it down the chimney.

Teddy is getting a new driver-side window. (The original cracked when I was having trouble shutting the door.) The blue 68 (Elwood) just got his new chrome valve cover in the mail yesterday (240 six cylinder). It is sitting under the tree next to the rest of the presents. And the 55 Fairlane (Jake) will have to be satisfied with an oil change. Merry Christmas, John

Just dropped my 51's frame, rear fenders, and some small parts off at a sandblasters, so she's getting a good cleaning and stripping.

Effie got new LED front signal lights from Lamberts that hopefully will get installed into my 54 Foncho grille during the week I'm off. Got a new set of socketsand rachets (cause I've abused them somethin fierce) and some non-truck stuff.....

Goal is to have paint on the grille by new year's day.

Mine has not been good at all, but I figure a carburetor rebuild might soften him up a bit. I think I'll even try to save the heat riser.....

Patches is getting 16 gauge patch panels welded in the floor board. He should be happy to no longer be a flintstone mobile.

Metal working tools. Small sheetmetal brake, shear, bead roller. Just lowbuck items from Harbor Freight. Stuff a guy needs so he can launch 50 page FTE threads on how to make an L bracket you could just go out and buy for a buck.

And a pair of rear speakers. I have to wrap them back up careful so my Mom can give them to me for Christmas.

Stock 15" wheels, painted black.... Should look better than those shiny things that are on there now.
