Truck Vibration
I am having a problem with a vibration that starts at approx 58 mph on my new 2004 F150 Supercrew. The shop tells me they will need to comply with a tech order from Ford to correct the problem. Has any one else had this problem and did the fix work?

Sorry to hear you are one of us "select" customers to have this issue. Go ahead and search the vibration issue threads on this site. I have not let my Ford service dept. fix per the latest TSB yet. My truck ('04 Supercrew 4X4) is still new (1 mo. and 1,300 miles) and I feel the dealership "knowingly" stuck me with a lemon since I purchased through a dealer transfer and could not test drive prior to purchasing. All 4 wheels out of balance can mask the issue. I am waiting to see success of recomended fix that just came out 12/9/04. Hate to, but may need to go down the DSB route.

Yes, this has been a problem for others. I just took mine in today for the 4th time. Try doing a search for vibration, and take a long afternoon to read.

My F-150 04, SuperCrew 4x4 is also in for the 4th time. They said they have a fix for the vibs. and nibble,this time, I sure hope so because if they don't its going to be replaced by a 2005 or a buy back.
