Okay i have a 76 F-250 hiboy after looking thru a couple of books it seems that i have a D44HD but upon actually looking at the front axle it is stamped 44 but also it is stamped 60f also a site said that a D60 would have 4" diameter hubs which i do maybe 5".But the Books say D60's weren't used as front ends til 78 so is very confused on what is actually the right axle in my truck and help will welcome.
Probly but if it is the original owner must have ordered hubs you would find on D60 cause they are huge my uncle has a 74 250 hiboy and his hubs are small compared to mine.
this 75 or 74 im not sure what year but i know it was a 78 or 79, 3/4 ton pick up had a dana 60 in the front and a 70 in the rear, the guy bought it new in the 70s.
yeah this pickup had a 70 rear and 60 front, when we blew the rear end up yeah some how you can do that, we thought it wasa 60 so we ordered parts for it and they were wrong, then we checked the tags and it was a 70 rear, then we blew the front up, and it was a 60, i dont know if you could of ordered it with a 70 and a 60.
