Rhino lining or carpet?

Hey all,

My floorpan looks good. I sprayed the vinyl with some vinyl paint on the panels and they look like new, and now I am ready to re-floor the cab.

I can get the carpet from JC Whitney for about 200 or line it with Rhino liner or another spray in.

What do you guys think?

i actually put down some rhino liner than i put in blackcarpet over it. it insulates it, holds heat better. and doesnt let anything in when it gets wet. just my 2 cents

I would rinho line it cause it will keep it from rusting, as a little bit of water underneath the carpet will cause it to rust rather quickly.

I just sprayed my floor with liner, and now I think I'm going to grab a carpet kit of some sort or floor mat to go over it. The old mat had a sound deadner underneath it before, and it sure made a difference. Also, now every single piece of dirt or dried wet salt/silt/sand stuff from our great winters stands out like a sore thumb. Think now that the base is protected, I'm going to grab something I can take in and out every once in awhile, to make it look better again, and to warm it up as well as quiet it down.

Yeah, that's the only problem with the spray in liner. You don't have a sounds deadener. It works nice for a work truck or something but otherwise the carpet is better but it does hold water/salt/moisture in.

The wal-mart brand spray or rolled liner works well, did the entire sidekit of my flatbed trailer cheap, holds well.

I just have the factory rubber floor mat that covers the complete cab floor. Works good... keeps the cab floor protected and easy to clean.
