leaking bronco
Hey all. This post is not one on a good note. A while ago I began to see water spots inside the ol' bronco and so I took it apart and noticed that the "soft stuff" under my vinyl was soaking wet. I have found that there are holes on each side of the car, just back from the rain gutter things. Should I go ahead and replace all of the weatherstripping? Also this is on a 92. Also, does anyone have suggestions on how to repair the holes? Shoould I just weld some sheetmetal over them and such? Also, dealing with the vinyl and carpet stuff, I was wondering if anyone has rhino lined or the equlivient of rhino lined the bottom to rid themselves of carpet/vinyl...This is because there are pretty good sized crackes in the floor boards and it would help repair them..Thanks...Any help/suggestions is welcome

For the Rhino lining...do a search on this forum..there was a post a couple of weeks ago that had a link to detailed steps on doing just that. As for the holes. do you mean cracks from the rain gutters back to the removeable top? or in the channel that the top sits in? Either way, there have been alot of people that have welded the holes/cracks closed, grinded smooth then repainted.
