Jeremy, this thread reminds me of our local car club meeting a few months back where a number of members had medical stuff done i.e. knee surgery, shoulder surgery, bypass etc. That got me to thinking that we are sometimes like the older vehicles and classic trucks. "Don't crush 'em, restore them." Just like "My Classic Car" on TV. Good luck on the restoration.
I know where you are at. I have had 4 surgeries on the same knee. One bit of advice, after the surgery do your physical therapy. Makes recovery much faster and better in the long run.
If you have cart. tears then therapy won't help you much. Dr. will probably end up going in with a scope and cleaning up the loose ends.
The good news is that with this surgery you will probably only be on crutches for a short time and recovery isn't bad. Like somebody mentioned before though, the longer you wait, the more damage will be done.
Thanks for your input fellas hopefully everything goes well. I will have more info on the 6th of Jan. and I will keep y'all posted. Hopefully I won't have to go under the knife. I'm not worring about the sugery it the no eating and drinking before you go in.
