okey dokey, heres the site that flowmaster has for sound clips of thier mufflers.. http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/cgi-bin/flowmaster/sound.html
I've got 50 series on my t-bird (V-6 SC) and its a bit too throaty, but I've got 70 series on my Ranger (V-6 3.0) and it sounds great. Dynamax also sound really nice...good luck
I'm looking for the right muffler(s) for my '04 3.0. I'm looking for good sound OUT BACK and quiet in the cab. Flowmaster says their 40's generate significant sound in the cab and lists the 50's and 70's with "moderate" sound. Do you think a 70 would be a good choice? My setup on my '99 was two small mufflers side by side and it sounded pretty good.

The Flowtech Warlocks aren't a bad muffler. A friend of mine had them on his 5.0 Mustang and they sounded pretty decent. With the caps on them they were about like a Dyno-max super turbo muffler and with the cap off they sounded almost like open headers. If you want something loud I suggest you go with the flowmaster 40 series or I have heard a lot of good things about the AeroTurbine mufflers if you can shell out the $200 for it.
The AeroTurbine mufflers are supposed to have a nice deep tone to them and offer significant gains on power due to the fact that they actually speed the exhaust up inside the muffler and create a vacuum effect within the pipe. www.aero-turbine.com
