ok, this happen twice but not in a row. the truck go no start,it will crank and crank and never turn over. i though it got not enuf juice on th abattery but the battery's good and so does the alternator. it takes a fews(4-5) times to finally get the engine to turn over and run. there's no code or check engine light on. got dealer but not ford dealer check on them and didnt find anything wrong. the first time it happen 's a week ago and today's the second time. what go wrong? help
second, how common's exhaust leak on the manifold/front exhaust system on the engine bay area? does cold weather play roll in it too, less leak sound but when it got hotter on the engine area, it got louder? cruising, no noise noticiable but when going up hill, noticiable. in the noise there's a "clink-clink" in between the noise. is it timming chain getting wore out or just the metal flipping around?
p/s: sorry, i try my best to describe my problem and english's my secound language :-) hope ya all understand my "english" , problem :-)
Will it start if you give it a little gas before you crank the engine? If so, check the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve on the back of the throttle body. The broken exhaust studs are a known problem.
