Dude man - you are lucky! That is one heck of a bang up job. Doesn't look like there is anything that isn't bent, twisted, or laying on the ground!! What the HECK did you hit?????
Wow, that's quite a hit... Get well soon! that truck took a beating, but if you look at the cab of the truck and especally the a-and b pillars, they held up fine, which is what kept you realtively OK- that's why we own Ford's- they can have a crash like this and kill themselves, but their occupants will be OK!
Glad to hear you're alright! I don't know if I've seen a truck wrecked that bad, and the driver only has a few broken bones. Not only is the truck tuff, but you gotta be tuff for wishstanding those impacts!!!
If you don't mind, could you tell us the story of what happened? I read in that thread that the paper was saying it was your fault. ???
I was on my way home and went thru an intersection. The light was green. I noticed that a truck was coming across and was not gonna stop. I hit my brakes and he hit me behind the rear door, sending me head on into a lite pole.
I havent heard of any witnesses, nor have I talked with DPS.
Maybe if you had hit the gas you could have gotten out of his way. Glad everyone is OK. I wrecked my '94 F250 460 about a month ago. Walked away without a scratch, did use the seatbelt, no airbags back then.
