Ignition Switch

How hard is it to change the ignition switch on a 91 f-250, is their any instructions for doing it??

The switch is at the base of the steering column. To remove it, its two torx bolts and a huge connector.

If you mean the ignition lock, its the same as all Fords of this vintage. Remove the lower plastic trim on the column, insert key, turn to "on" while pushing the little button on the underside of the lock with a small phillips or allen key. Wiggle the key, then pull the lock out.

Does your F250 have tilt, or not?

No difference if it does, just the MAIN reason you replace the lock cylinder in a tilt is cause the ignition actuator rod is busted. Just curious....
