I want to install Dick Cepek F-C II on my 2003 F-250. My truck has the leaf springs in the front so hopefully i wont have any rubbing.
I want to install 285/75r/16 (33x11.5x16) I noticed the load range on my stock tires is "load range E" It seems just about all other tires out there are "load range d"
Do i have to go the the correct load range?
I dont really do any hauling , except I pull a 30 foot enclosed snomobile trailer during the winter. Any help would be great!! Thanks Jeff
Thanks guys, I just ordered my Dick Cepeks F-C II 's this morning. 154.95 from Ultimate 4.com I also found a local shop to mount and balance them for 15 per tire. Cant wait to get these tires on and get rid of the GARBAGE stock one it came with. They only lasted 33000 miles. Ford should be ashamed of putting junk tires on their trucks.... thanks again Jeff
I think Dodge is the only one who put good OEM tires on (Michelin LTX) a few years ago. I don't know if they still do it. The rest are junk. Your "D"s should be fine as long as you don't exceed their ratings.
80psi is max pressure for a load E tire. I would not recommend using this unless your truck is under MAX load. It will ride like a tank and handle lousy otherwise. Even 60 psi is a little high. 50-55 psi is normally fine.
