The only tuner available for your truck is an SCT Custom Tuner. See here:

You can't use both at the same time. A chip will over ride whatever tune a tuner installs. Neither is better from a tune perspective because either one can load the same tune. The chip costs less, the tuner has more features. It depends on what's the most important to you.
