92 ranger engine swap
i had a 92 ranger "2.3 dual spark pulg" given to me and it needs a engine i have a chance to get a reman long block 2.3 the question is will a 92 2.3 mustang engine work thanks matt

from what I understand is that the 2.3 is the same through all years. The only thing that changes is the head from 1 to 2 plugs/cylinder. and the porting of the heads. So I would have to say yes the mustang 2.3 will drop into your ranger/
