4x4k20 Welcome. When you say that they are running rough can you give us some description of how they are running? Rough encompasses lot's of things, hard starts, no start when warm, crappy mileage, no power, etc Next where are you located in Ga.

Does the one that won't start in the morning start ok if you plug in the block heater for a couple of hours? If so then I'd say you got a glow plug system issue, more than likely the relay itself. On the other one can you get the codes scanned? AutoZone will scan it for free as a rule. This would help in diagnosing it's problem and give us an idea where to start looking for troubles. Also I forgot to ask what year model are these trucks?

Yepper, check the alternative fuels forum here and on TDS. Should be converting mine to veggie oil in a couple of 3 months.

John,

Where are you getting the veggie oil?

Me & an engineer friend have been toying with doing a conversion, but he doesn't want to use his diesel Mercedes. We've considered getting a clunker just to mess with, but we're both a little broke. Are you using one of the kits or rolling your own?

Ladyfire I'm not running veggie yet, but probably will after March or April, I have some friends that are making their own Bio-D for use in their Cummins though, best place to get it is from chinese resturants, they change their oil frequently so it's usually cleaner than say , burger doodle or mac-yucks. When I do convert I will look real hard at the Greasel system.
