new guy
HI to everyone,i have a 1954 F-100 6 cyl 3 spd. The truck was sitting in a field the last 25 years so it's going to need a lot of work. I'm thinking just getting it running put it in primer maybe splitting the exhaust manifold and run around like that for a while. Any ideas would be
great.

Welcome! Nice find. One of the first things to do, is get it cleaned up so you can see what you have. After a complete inspection, list everything needed to make the truck SAFE, and roadworthy. After that take your time and enjoy, if that means running in primer, go for it! Get it out on the road, after that much time in a field, let it stretch it's legs....

I am in the process of doing the same thing. I want to get my truck on the road and safe then work on the rest. Clean it up and post a few pictures for us in your gallery. Don't be embarressed look at my truck. Fill out your user information so we can see where you are. I live in Silver Lake MN, where are you in Wisconsin?
