i just got a 1990 302fi oil leaker. i cant get the lifters to pump up and stop rattleling..after warm up it quites down..but with little rpm it rattles and runs ruff ..opinons before tear down........motordaddy

lifters
pull your upper plenum and valve covers and torque rockers at 25 - 28 lbs let sit till you can spin pushrods on the cyls that dont have valves open. put it back togather and should be good to go. moondogg
