Did Warn Prem install, alonge with conversion kit, wheel hubs, rotors, bearings, calibers and pads. The small inner snap ring went on the axel shaft no prob., but large the outter lock ring will not seat. I can bearly see the groove in the wheel hub. Job went flawless untill the end.
Any help will be appricated
Much Obliged, Paul
if everything is in as it should be it sounds like the body of the hub(lockout) is not sitting right inside the outer hub. did you change anything else? Are you sure its all in correctly? it should sit fine. The rotor/hub assembly is on all the way?
Rap the end of the axleshaft a couple of times with the wooden end of a hammer- it will probably retract 1/8-1/4 of an inch to allow the outer ring to snap in. Some guys have the opposite problem when the axle is retracted too far - there's room for the compnents to move around. You just have to push in the right place. Try turning the rotors while pushing - good luck!
