Hey my 84 2.8L Bronco II doesn't get the best gas mileage in the world just curious if anyone has any suggestions on carb that will be better for gas. I was told to look at a 4bbl fuel economy holley. If anyone has suggestions that would be helpful I would appreticate it.
what didi you use for a gasket? When ever I go in and try to buy a gasket for my carb it's the wrong one the gasket doesn't fit. The carb hangs over the gasket causing a vaccum problem I have an old gasket on it but it's leaking. This is the reason I want to upgrade to the 4BBL but if you can help me find the right gasket and stuff I will go the way your talking about. Do you know what carb it is that you pulled from the mustang?
I used a Motorcraft model 2100, but if you want fuel efficiency use a model 2700 Variable Venturi Carb. As for the gasket, the bolt holes are the same as the stated carbs and will bolt on. I suggest getting a roll of cork and trace the bottom of the carb you intend on using and make a gasket. Hope this helps
First I have to make sure that I actually have one that is not in use. Second I will need to know your address so I can calculate shipping costs Private Message me with that info.
