Rust Removal?

Rust Removal?
I have bed rail bars and they're kinda rusty on a part of them. Is there a way to remove rust? Some kind of chemical or something. I'm guessing they are stainless steel, but is stainless steel suppose to rust? Thanks.

I'm not sure where they are rusty, but it could be rust leaching from steel fasteners. Stainless will rust if contaminated with steel. Never use a steel wire brush on steel. you could use fine scotchbrite to get off the rust and repolish. Mothers alum. mag wheel polish works great on stainless too. Just my input.
