I hate to sound stupid but I just wanna juice up my manual 1995 Ford Ranger. It has already been dueled out. But anyways I really want to fix it up and I am really unsure as to what to put on it. Like to make it more drag style. I just love the truck and want something to do to it so if anyone can float me the info needed to make it better I'd greatly appreciate it. I am just looking for like a list of parts to fix it up and maybe a place or URL that I can go to get them. Thanx!

What engine is in it? Transmission? How much do you wish to put into it/get out of it? Engine swap?

i have a 2.3 4cl. trans.? I would like more torqe and hp, a new engine to make more up grades and add ons too. Price.....2 to 3 thousand would be nice but to have "THE #####" truck maybe more.
If you plan on spending 2 to 3 grand then you have a couple of options. One, you could probably search around and find engine mounts etc to drop a v-8 in it. With a little searching and searching you should be able to pull it off if you do some of the work. I am unsure but with a search there is a website dedicated to rangers and I believe they have conversions of this kind. Two, not to promote cliffordperformance.com or anything you could probably go to there site and find there phone number, and or post questions. I would be sure they would have something for your inline 4. Another option would be turbocharger or add nitros, nitros would be the cheapest way and if your planning on spending a couple grand you could blow a motor or two and still be under budget. Good luck
I have posted a few sites to get information on V8 engine swaps in a few other threads. If you use the search feature of this site, you should be able to find them.
