Clunk in rear end
Anyone else have a clunk in the rear end of their Ranger. I have a '95 Ranger XLT and the clunk almost always happens when I come out of a sharp turn and accelerate. I have had opinions that it may be spring wrap and that it may the driveshaft slip yoke hanging up. Since it only usually happens after a turn, do you think it could be a differential problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Whatever It Is They Passed It On To The 98-2000 Generation Ranger. My 98 Clunks especially when coming out of a corner hard and excelerating. Mine has done this since I purchased it. At first I took it back to the dealer and had them completely inspect the rear end but they could offer no suggestion as to anything that was malfunctioning and 2 years later it still does it.
Nothing more has ever come from it other than an anoyance but If anyone does know what causes this I would like to hear it as well
