96 250 Transfer Case problem

My 96 Ford F250 with 5.8L has Transfer case problem. Will shift to 2H or 4H. Will not shift to neutral or 4L. Stick presses spring down to shift position but cannot move. Neither I nor previous owner have used this range in over 5 years. Any thoughts regarding problem and possible fix?

Welcome to FTE. Try posting this in Clutch,Transmission, Differential, Axle and Transfer Case Forum. Actually, one of the Moderators will probably move it there anyway. Good luck. Carl
