I was just driving home when the instrument lights went out in my '93 F-150. Later, I was made aware that I didn't have any rear running lights either. Of course the fault was the headlight switch which had one very badly burned contact causing the connector to melt between two of the contacts. I have made a temporary repair which I hope will last until hunting season is over.
I need the identification of each of the several contacts on the switch. If someone has an electrical diagram of the unit and will tell me what each of the contacts controls, I would appreciate not having to trace the circuits.
Fredrick, Sorry for taking so long to thank you for the headlight switch schematic. The hunting just kept me from doing anything with the switch. I ended up just tinning all the contacts which should give me a better contact than the corroded copper surfaces.
It really did help to have the info on what the functions of the contacts are.
Thanks again.
Ron
