Hello everyone, my 04 gets about 15 on the highway and 12-13 in town, there is only 11000 miles on it I was thinking on getting another one 05 f350 and get rid of my cummins NO not because its bad but i want to drive something else so it would have to be a powerstroke just wondering if anyone is getting 17 or above that would help my truck buying
Have a heavy foot and got 16.8 mpg on the highway last weekend. Right after the reflash I took it easy and got about 21 pmh on the Lie-o-meter (which has alwasy only been a few tenths of for me when compared to the hand calculated numbers). Reflashed helped by about 2 mpg on my '04/'04. Plenty to read about it!!
My 04/04 was getting about 12-13 city and 15 highway for the first 5,000 miles . I am getting about 1-2 miles better now at 8,000 miles . I haven't had the new flash yet . Should I get it ?
03 6.0 Crewcab with 43,000 miles- Mpg is generally about the same as mlb4966 reported. Although my worst highway mpg was 17.4 going 80-85 mph on a 1,200 mile roadtrip at high elevation with very strong cross winds. Not bad for a 8,000 lb vehicle about as aerodynamic as a brick.
Item of note: My mpg improved when I switched to synthetic oil
I have a stock March 03 engine. With the latest flash, I am consistently getting over 16 around town. Not much more than 16, like 16.25, 16.33, etc. It is my daily driver. So that includes trips to the store, etc.
Mix county roads and city 16mpg. 19+ on the Interstate.
04' F250sc LWB, 4x4, 6.0psd, ZF6spd, 3.73:1 Limited Slip rear. No canopy yet. All stock except the recent Zoodad mod. Stock tires, no lift -For now. Only 4500 miles on it. As this engine starts to break in, power is increasing and mileage is getting better. Never been reflashed. Engine build date 03/05/04.
04 CC SWB, just rolled over 19,000 miles. Thanksgiving weekend drove from Portland, OR into central Washington round trip over the passes cruising above 70, recorded 18.31 mpg. Topped the tank off on the way out of town and when I rolled back into town. Averaging high 16's to low 17's in the daily commute, which includes alot of rush hour traffic on the freeways. Stop and go. All I can say is that I hope my 05 will average the same mileage at 20,000 miles, pick it up this Thursday.
Just cranked over the 7000 mile mark on the way to work this morning...getting 13-14 in town and 17-18 on highway empty. Have noticed about 1 MPG since feul has been switched over to winter blend. Oh yea, towing the cargo trailer loaded or unloaded 12-14 depending on terrain. Running synthetic oil and predator on 65.
