Slow start
I had an issue come up the other morning and was curious if it was common. I was leaving work at 6am after my truck had been sitting for 12hrs and when I took off if was VERY sluggish. I tried foward, reverse, and still no power. After it warmed up it was bussiness as usual. When I put it in park it revved up fine, it was only in gear and before it was warm that it was sluggish. It was only about 60 degrees outside. Anybody ever had the problem? It's a 02 w/52,000 miles. It has never done that and has not done it since.

My '02 has always been sluggish in cold weather after sitting overnight. I've always been in the habit of cranking it, letting it idle for maybe a minute (sometimes longer if there's ice or snow that I have to scrape off), then driving off and taking it very easy until it gets to normal operating temps. It's always been that way so I figured that's normal during cold weather. I do notice a difference in power and transmission shifting for the first mile or so.
Just a side note, my parent's '03 feels sluggish when it's cold as well.
Of course, 60 degrees really isn't that cold...
