I finally decided on a spray in liner and had it put in yesterday. Very satisfied, it looks real good. $384
The man there was real courteous and he and his helper did it in 1- 1/2 hours.
I did my studying on spray-ins and decided on the Line-X.
The color is black but not very dark, it is actually the same color as the bed rail caps but with a textured look.
Yes I should post some photo's, I need to learn how to do that anyway.
The Line-X man did not say anything about added in UV protection. What he did say was to use a spray on it, that he had, about every 4 to 6 mos. for fade protection.
We have a digital camera and maybe I will be successful with posting some pictures.
Where are the instuctions as to how it is done?

I have fought the urge for many years to put in a spray liner, but never have. I did my research and decided on the LineX as well. I liked many things about it, and the color match was kind of a bonus. I never had it done, because I figured I would just use the bed until I could not stand to look at it and then get it sprayed. I bought a $25 rubber mat which gives basic protection and keeps things from sliding. Is there any reason why I should get the liner now? I can still stand to look at the scratches, scuffs and marks in the bed. Is there some advantage I am missing?

My new 2005 F350 was initially ordered with a Rhino liner. But, once I researched the differences I changed it to Linex. The big factor was that the Linex has a NATIONWIDE, lifetime warranty. The Rhino is warranted by the franchisee that installs it. (Supposedly, if you are more than 100 miles from the installer, another installer will fix it -- right!). I have previously had a drop in liner and this liner is a winner hands down!

Other then the nationwide warranty, what other differences led all of you to pick Line-X over Rhino? A fellow I work with recently got the Rhino & it looks pretty good. Are there differences in the thicknesses?
Thanks for the help.
I just posted a message about the difference between them and was wondering the same thing. What's wrong with the rhino compared to the X-liners? And do the have extra options? UV? Railings etc?
