im looking to get a set of 10" front leaf springs and wanted to know which companys i should look at as far as quality. also how much should i reasonably be looking to pay.
ATLAS is a really good company that supplies many competion, off road race vehicles, monster trucks etc.. they have experiance... they will custom build you springs to any specs you want... i have 12" rear atlas springs that work great, the price is unbeatable, and the custom support is outstanding.. i dont have there number off hand but you can find it via internet search... as yeti mentioned "hangars" are a way to get your truck up while using a less arc'd spring.. equals better ride...... for what its worth.. my 12" springs sagged two inches when i pulled a travel trailer from TX to WA and back, four months after i had installed springs.. they settled to 10" and have never budged after that, and i have had many loaded trips since.... so you might want to anticipate a little sag.... good luck
I agree with calling Atlas if you want 10" front springs made.
I also agree that you'd be better off going with a hanger and shackle with a smaller spring so as to be able to use a smaller, flatter spring with less spring rate for a better ride.
Don't forget that with a 10" suspension lift you'll want to do crossover steering and trac bar relocation for proper steering geometry and for safety.
