Door latch removal

Any one know how to remove the door latch? The little straight spring broke, and you can't easily unlock it. The cylinder lock rod had popped off, and the power actuator is burned out from trying to unlock it. I guess we have to get the latch from Ford; nobody else lists it. I took the screws out, but I can't figure out how to disconnect the various rods. I assume you have to disconnect the rod going to the outside door handle first, then swing it down to disconnect the others, but I can't see how to disconnect the first rod.

While I can not help with the actual removal procress, I recently ordered a replacement inside door handle for the rear passenger side from Ford Parts Network (http://www.parts.com/partlocator/index.cfm?siteid=318) delivery was quick and since they have a decent break out on the parts diagram I knew I was getting the right one.

I'll be ordering a replacement hood latch and some other bits and pieces from them in the new year.

PPS. It might also help if you list your model and year as they might not all be the same (I am not sure).
