I finally ran the codes on my 95 F350 460 The KOEO code was 334 and KOER codes came back 173, 334, 538. I changed the O2 sensor last week so I would think that rules that out. What do you think I should look at next with codes like this. I ran the truck this morning on a small snow storm for about 1 hour used about 1/4 tank of gas. Mileage still terrible. Seems I have a small oil leak somewhere towards the back of the motor too. The remanufactured motor was installed new last year. Whats back there that could be leaking? I sent it back to the guy that did the motor swap and he checked for leaking valve cover gaskets, they were dry. Wish I had a match and fire coverage !!!
Well I checked my fuel pressure also. With the KOEO it read 42 PSI. I started the engine and the needle went haywire jumping around at the top of the guage. I shut the motor off and went out to check the guage. It read 80 psi. I now think the regulator must be bad...right ? Will that cause these other codes i'm seeing posted in previous post.
