Transfer Case Fill Plug
I recently purchased a 1987 Bronco with the "Shift-On-The-Fly" Borg-Warner transfer case. Today I decided to check the transfer case oil level before I start driving the rig. It seems that the aluminum plug has been buggered up by the P.O. Before I destroy what is left of the plug getting it out, can anyone tell me if it is NPT, or do I need to go to the dealer for a special plug? From outward apperance, it looks like a taper thread. Thanks!
