I'm sure this topic has come around before but since i've only been here for a couple of weeks maybe i'll get some response.
Why do people whose drivers window won't roll down go thru drive thrus? The electric company where I live has a drive thru just like a bank (multiple lanes) and also has walk in service for bill payment. Now you may think i'm exaggerating but I swear there were no less than 6 people who had to get out of their cars to use the drive thru in the 5-7 minutes I was there. I also see it all the time at fast food joints and other places that offer drive thru service. People having to get out of their cars to deal with the person at the window because their car window won't go down. Maybe i'm just being **** about it. What Say Ya'll?
I say they should mail the darn payment in and stop wasting gas and time in line.
Exactly!!! I have asked my dad about this several times, as he prefers to drive to the place to pay each bill. He said I don't want to waste a stamp, and its cheaper this way. At the rate gas prices are he probably uses at least 37 cents in gas to drive accross town.
I get out of my truck at the drive thru bank machine. Quite simply, my truck is too high for me to reach the buttons. I could just park in the parking lot and walk in ... Actually, I do if I have to make a deposit.
Ever gone in a drive-though backwards? Now that's fun. Did that at a burger joint a few times back in highschool. Me and a buddy were going off to a rodeo and he was hungary but I wasnt, so I drove in backwards and made him order his own food. The looks from all the folks was great

Wow, talk about a waste of time.. DRIVE to the place to pay bills? I either mail it or pay online now to save postage. The only bill I deliver is my rent check.
when we go to macdonalds my girlfriend goes in... there's a girl works there she's friends with... always gets us extra fries
can't say i go to the bank much. paycheck, tax refund, government benefits all deposited directly into my checking acount. bank automatically deducts my mortgage every month. other bills i pay online... even the guy delivers the heating oil is online. if i want cash i get it when i pay my groceries
only time i go to the bank is to deposit those refund checks you get buying computer parts or if i have to get a large amount of cash to buy a car or something

In our old Ch*** lumina van the driver side window farted out... as does every drivers side window in just about every car we've had. But everytime we went thru a drive thru we would just pull up a lil farther than usual and open the door. No getting out, no using the window. Looked a lil odd but it was fine to me.

A guy I used to work with drove to work backwards, literally from one end of town to the other (guessing about 10K or 6miles) smallish town. I was at my moms getting a ride from her and as we're pulling away I see this car going over the train overpass backwards. I thought 'did I just see what I thought I saw?' Sure enough about a mile from work I see him pulled over by a cop. can't remember if he got a ticket or not but the cop let him carry on... His transmission messed up and only reverse worked.
