Dome Light Delay... Sometimes... Sometimes No delay.. why?
01 Harley F-150 S-crew --- When I lock my doors.... power locks... and shut the door, most of the time the light goes off immediately... But sometimes it will do the delay thing.
Anyone know why its random light that?
Its just annoying cause it makes you think you left the light on....

If you leave the door open for a while before locking and closing the door, the delay has already gone past the time limit and the light goes out right away. Not sure if this is what is hapenning to you.

I had the same problem. After extensive research and trial and error I found that the light switch is embeded in the lock mechanism in the door. I originaly pulled the lock out and lubricated the pin with wd40 and assembled it back in, it was a pain in the a** but it worked year and half later it started again but instead of pulling apart again I sprayed wd40 through the lock mechanism and It took care of it. hope this helps
