Wow! I pre-dated you a bit as my first car was a 1963 MGB- black with red leather interior, chrome wire wheels, electric overdrive on 3rd & 4th gear, and a Blaupunkt radio and a tonneau cover. It only had 7500 miles in it & the engine had been blueprinted (That should have been a clue to it's past....) that my Dad found at Import Motors in Lubbock, Texas in 1965. We took it for a drive & I LOVED that car! It was beautiful, and it WAS FAST!!! Unfortunately, I found out the transmission was a weak link, when I blew it up(racing).....and we were told it would take six to nine months to get parts....and it was gone!! I was back on foot, I saw it back on the street 15 day's later, then found out the first owner had been a pilot at Reese AirForce base in Lubbock and had bought it to race and had traded it in on a Jaguar because of the weak transmission.
You live and learn, and BOY, do I ever wish I had taken a picture with that MGB!

I have the worst car so far. My first car was a 1984 Audi 5000s that was a canary yellow with brown iterior. I payed 1000 bucks for it. The car was interesting let me tell you it had a slant 5 cyl motor which I think is just weird. It was a 5 speed too. The car had no power steering it had a power rack a pinion which took a oil that was like 20 bucks a quart and you can only get at the audi or porsche dealer. The window was held up by a curtain rod in the door and the sunroof was stuck halfway open. When the car broke you are really broke because you need to take out a mortage to fix it. Those damn germans build some crappy cars.
My first car was a pickup truck 63 uni.I was 13 my dad towed it into the yard said if you get it goin you can have it.From taking apart his lawn mowers I knew 2 things fuel and spark.2 hours later it was runnin. He did honor his word.In total shock
