Rear Bumper

Is there any places out there that actually make an aftermarket offroad rear bumper for 73-79 ford trucks. I have done searches on the net and have no luck. I do not want a huge drop down bumper i already have one on the truck i need something that does not hang down so far. but will allow a class 4 or 5 hitch to be installed. Any help is welcome.

Sure is I found some lastnight. Enter Ford truck bumper into your search engine. I pulled up some nice ones, that the wife wants to buy me.

anything from 77.5-96 will work. i'm getting a chrome one off of a 95 tomorrow. Hope this helps

Thomasm67..are you swapping the drop down bumper for a more stock-like bumper?..if so..are you wanting to get rid of the drop-down bumper...if you are getting rid of it,i might be interested..thanks

Not really wanting an oem rear bumper is wanting a heavy duty aftermarket one that does not hang down 10" and will still protect my bed somewhat. If i can't find i might have to have one built at a local weld shop and sorry if that bumper comes off it goes to my uncle who has a 74 ford hi boy and needs a rear bumper.

find an offroad bumper in the junk yard off of a 77.5 thru 96 bumper and use that. or you can come here and there is a company called Renuell that people come from colorado an farther to get one built. lol
