Don't know if this'll help you...I'm looking at doing the same thing and have been told that most of the interiors from the same year Explorer will match a Ranger. I'm trying to find tan leather seats (buckets)...but haven't found any yet, at a reasonable price. Maybe this'll point ya in the right direction.
May need to watch the years you're looking at to make sure they match up.
I took a center console from an 00 Explorer and put it in my 02 Ranger XLT ext cab. Bolted right up. To get a console to work with a 5 speed, you may need to take the little storage holder out of the console and fab up a boot to cover the shifter in that opening. I've seen some who've had leather boots made up and they look good.
Here is what I did:
*Leather power seats from an Explorer
*Center floor console from an Explorer
*Overhead console from an Explorer
*Dome light from an Explorer
It takes a little time since you have to remove part of the dash. It is not hard just takes time. It took me about 1 1/2 hours. The trickiest part is making sure you get the guage needles back on in the proper position. Be sure to carefully mark their position before removing them. Also your new guage face kit should include a guage needle removal tool. That will help. When you put the needles back on DO NOT push them on too tight. They will bind on the face and stick.
Thanks lifted97. I appreciate the help, unfortunatly the link doesn't work. Must be expired. Oh well, I'll keep lookin'.
Go to eBaymotors.com and do a search for Ranger seats. if that doesn't turn up anything you like do a search for explorer seats since they will bolt right in.
Go to www.stylinconcepts.com and then put in your make and model and then on the side bar it shows exterior, interior, engine and etc. They make billet ***** for your radio and a/c. And some more stuff. I have a neon blue light in mine. It has a switch to make it flash with the bass of a song or you can just leave it on constantly its pretty cool. Hooks right up in the power outlet.
