If you call advance adapters they can hook you up with a kit that will get you everything yuou need. I went with James Duff and they SUCK big time. I went through 3 (yep, count 'em three) sets of headers from them. Talk about junk craftsmanship. Advance will get you the engine mounts, radiator, etc... Drop me a line if you want any other tips...
the 302 i have is out of a '79 f-150 ,the trans. is out of a '84 f-150. i was wondering the bare-minimum parts i will need for the conversion, and will i need headers?
Hedman makes a nice set of headers. I run them on both of my rangers
84 302-5-speed..92 302-C4 auto.... As for your trans it depends on which crossmember you have. If your truck has the single bolt crossmember like my 92 did you can always go with the stamped steel one like my 84 came with....just for reference i went to the stamped steel one for my 92.. and works fine you just have to drill some holes.have fun.
