'80s frame width

'80s frame width

Can anyone out there with a mid-'80s ranger tell me how wide the frame is? I'm looking for the width at about the middle of the truck ~between the back of the cab and the front of the rear end.

'80s frame width

'83, 2wd shortbed, measured just behind the cab is 32" from outside to outside of the frame rails, give or take a 1/4" or so.
